Tron Lightcycle / Run invites guests to climb aboard a Lightcycle for a high-speed adventure, racing against the Grid’s most menacing programs. Fly past the fierce opponents in an attempt to cross through 8 Energy Gates and secure a victory for the Blue Team. TRON Lightcycle / Run is one of the fastest coasters at any Disney theme park in the world. TRON Lightcycle / Run is based on the 2010 Disney sci-fi film TRON: Legacy based on characters by Steven Lisberger and Bonnie MacBird.

TRON Lightcycle / Run is a steel launched coaster manufactured by Vekoma and designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. TRON Lightcycle / Run is located in the Tomorrowland area of Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World. TRON Lightcycle / Run opened on April 4th, 2023, the ride consists of a 3,193ft (966m) track with a top speed of 59.3mph (95.4 kn/h) and a G-force of 4.

The TRON Lightcycle Roller Coaster also exists in Shanghai Disneyland, where it is known as TRON Lightcycle Power Run. TRON Lightcylce Power Run opened on June 16th, 2016.

How tall do you have to be to ride TRON Lightcycle / Run?
To ride TRON Lightcycle / Run guests must be at least 48in (122 cm). Any guests under the age of 7 years old must be accompanied by a person aged 14 years or older.

Tron Lightcycle / Run is a high-speed, roller coaster-type thrill ride on motorcycle-style vehicles inside a dark, computerized world with sharp turns, sudden drops, and stops and may not be suitable for some guests.

A virtual queue is in place for TRON Lightcycle / Run, and guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to enter this attraction. A standby queue is not available at the time of this video. Guests can only use the virtual queue once a day during regular park hours. Guests can also purchase an individual Lightning Lane for this attraction subject to availability.
