This is my 3rd standup comedy video.

Moving from the financial capital to the National capital of the nation, it has been quite the journey. Though both the prominent cities have their own sets of challenges, the people have their own way of dealing with them. Mumbaikars tend to run away from them, since we are always in a rush to catch our “local” trains. At the same time, our siblings in Dilli, like to face these challenges and sometimes even crush them with stereotypes like “tujhe pata hai mera baap kaun hai?”. People in Delhi have better space, homes, roads, work life balance, food, beauty and what not but I personally love the Metro. Mumbai, also now have metros stretching a respectable distance unlike earlier where it was the better version of Dadar station, connecting western line to central. But Dilli metro has different vibe, it makes sure your commute is not only convenient but full of entertainment. Though the running body DMRC is trying to spoil it by restricting the “entertainers” but people are trying their best. Another aspect where Delhi is winning is the concept of Bike taxis, Rapido, for strange reasons banned in Mumbai, because our government wants us to have different kinds of fun, which we call struggle.

Dilliwale are definitely better salesman, they can hallucinate you to pay absurd amounts for any absurd things. I have been charged exorbitantly just to take a leak.

This video is my way of dealing with the city, the experiences that I have had, not just with the people but also with the very extreme weather. Although weather in Mumbai is also not so forgiving but in Delhi it becomes unbearable sometimes. So much that you don’t feel like answering nature calls and maintain basic hygiene.
And I have realised writing a joke is the best way to deal with things. Some people will say it’s therapy but due to my glorious career till now, I can’t afford it. So I try to be funny instead.

Lastly the thing that has left me awestruck is the same thing that makes this city so beautiful - women here. I am fascinated by not just their beauty but also their audacity. They don’t feel cold, they are immune to it just like they are immune to all the catcalling and ogling. They have this extraordinary ability to make ordinary clothes look expensive. Their bargaining skills definitely beat the salesmanship here.

So I hope you enjoy this comparison between the two great cities and their even greater people. Mind you, these observations are made by an outsider who has become an insider now.
