A young nuclear science graduate Roy comes to Czech Republic from Milan to show his ambitious skills on practice. Unfortunately for him, his on-job training results in a tragedy. Roy survives and now demands for the truth to meet its audience with the help of his duplicitous Serbian friend Alex and his connections in a German ruled company strongly rival to ČEZ (Conglomerate of companies ruling the power plant). However not everyone wants such truth to be spread.

Theme: This film is a surrealistic sequence about a theme, not a story. A theme of a catastrophe, be that Chernobyl or Fukushima it is the theme an overall emotions associated with an event as such one. Ironically, at the time when I've first had this idea to make such a project (10 months ago) There was no earthquake in Japan yet, later on during the tragic events of March 2011 my IGCSE Art project became more attractive sine the topic of a nuclear accident has appeard on headlines all around the world. It took me many nights to study the 1986 events in detail, in fact so much that I had a feeling that I used to live in Pripyat for some years. I knew the Chernobyl nuclear power plant back and forth, each length and volume of a specific turbine and each hight of a fuel rod, however it was not the story that what I was after in this particular work.

We shot the film in two days. 9hours On Sunday, when only three actors where available and 4 hours on Monday after school with the rest of the actors and just enough time for me to shout out the instructions and somewhat allocate the setting.

Afterwards was an independent art project that I've developed towards the end of my 10th grade at Riverside School Prague, having some previous experience of film-making back in Buckswood School, England (mostly absurdous comedy that is indeed too insane to upload on this web-site) after attending drama lessons with our genius drama teacher Mr. Baker that gave me the knowledge of subject and professional motivation in his unique style, and developed my acting skills greatly.
