Author Jim McClellan has captured a glimpse of Apalachicola River culture that few have experienced. He joins WFSU-TV for an EcoAdventure in the swamps off of the river, where much of his book, "Life Along the Apalachicola River," takes place. He takes us fishing and scouts a spot for turkey hunting.

During his lifetime, he has seen changes to the river due to low water flow. By sharing his story, he hopes to preserve a culture that has thrived along the Apalachicola for several generations.
