After years of wanting to start YouTube, I finally started my YouTube channel. Starting from 0 Youtube views and subscribers, I know that it can be hard to grow on a YouTube channel, so I set ambitious goal to post daily uploads on Youtube every single day.

This way I am posting consistent Youtube content and have more chances to grow my views, subscribers and watch time, and potentially have a YouTube video that goes viral and grows my channel.

Even though I am posting to YouTube frequently, I still post high quality content. My YouTube videos are thought out and researched so they can provide lots of value to viewers & subscribers.

My YouTube videos are a lot of work on my end to conceptualize, research, script, film, cut, edit with my editor, & work on titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and tags every single day, but it’s something that I really enjoy doing and watching this YouTube channel grow.

So now what were the results of uploading one YouTube video per day for 30 days as a brand new YouTube channel? Well let’s go into YouTube analytics and check it out.

From posting my first 38 Youtube videos, in that time my new YouTube channel has grown to 197 subscribers so far. If we go to my most popular YouTube videos, I had one video that broke 1,000 views which was how to get your first ten subscribers on YouTube and the others videos have gotten around 200 or more views, which is not too bad for a new YouTube channel.

If we look at my total YouTube view count since I started uploading, this channel has received 5276 views across 38 videos, an average of about 139 views per video. Every day, on this YouTube channel, we are consistently gaining around 100 views or more from the channel.
In that time my channel also has a total watch time of 201 hours which averages around 5 watch hours a day!

Where my Youtube channel stands currently, I still have some ways to go before it gets monetized. I have reached about 19% of the 1000 subscriber requirement and only about 5% of the 4000 watch hour requirement.

My goal for this YouTube channel is to post one new video every single day for this entire year and see where my channel goes in that time. For me, I chose to upload daily, not just for the fact that I will have more videos to get potential views and subscribers from. But by uploading daily I am challenging myself, and getting much better faster at being on camera and the entire process of making YouTube videos. It I was posting 1 video a week instead, it would have taken me over 6 months to get my channel to this point and to this current level of skill as a creator.

I still have a long way to go in making better YouTube videos and content, but I can honestly say that after over 30 videos I feel much more confident on camera than day 1 and am excited to keep this going.
