Poplar is a hardwood that widely gets overlooked, as it's typically used for secondary surfaces, items like pallets or crates, and isn't usually the first wood considered when making a fancy woodworking project. Today I'd like to hopefully change your mind to give a poplar a chance in your projects. It's widely available, cheap and very friendly to work with.
