How to unlock your SIM Card

Learn how to unlock the SIM card on your device with these easy steps.
A SIM card or network lock may be preventing you from making calls or messages. There are several reasons why your device network might be locked when you insert a new SIM card.

1. In your device settings, go to ‘Biometrics and Security.
2. Go to ‘Other security settings’.
3. In ‘Set up sim card lock’, tap ‘Lock sim card’
4. Enter the sim card pin (default: 1234) and tap ok.
5. Once active, tap ‘Change sim card pin’ to change to a pin of your choice.
6. To disable sim card lock, tap “Lock sim card” again and enter the pin number.
