Hi! I'm Lucelia Chou from Novarise! I became a real estate investor by accident at 19 with my first rental property. I have to admit, I never intended to become a real estate investor. Opposite to the idea of financial freedom that most people want, I actually wanted a 9 to 5 job. And why wouldn’t I? I worked about 80 hours at my parents’ restaurant when growing up.

I suggested my parents to invest in a Queens condo in 2010. The financial crisis hit two years later, teaching me the ins and outs of house flipping with our second property. By 2013, I leveraged my 401k to invest in my first rental property. A turning point in 2018 shifted my focus entirely to real estate. In this video, I share the events that shaped my journey and why I went all in. I hope you find it helpful and relatable.
