If you're considering a trip to Thailand, Bangkok should be one of the cities you visit! Bangkok is one of the most visited places in the world, and for good reason. This city is filled with culture, architecture, shopping, and most important, GREAT Food!

It's tropical fruit season here in Thailand! Durians and Mangosteens are the start of the season and highly loved by Thai locals and all of Asia. Durians are called the King of Fruits because of it's aroma which can be very pungent and smelly to many who has never tried or encountered this magnificent fruit before. Mangosteens are considered the Queen Of Fruits and it's because it's based on history. I love durians and grew up eating them so I am definitely excited to be here in Thailand during durian season. You bet I'm enjoying as much fresh durians as possible. I finally decided to cut one myself and this is the first time I've ever done it. I'm not super skilled like the professionals, but it was pretty easy to cut open the durian once you understand how to do it.

I also heard that durians and mangosteens is very tasty when eaten together. In fact, it's one of the best fruit combinations you can eat so I had to try... It was incredible and took things to another level. Highly recommend trying the two together.
