Tldw: traumas are invasive species that we have to observe and root out, best as possible, because we cannot erase it. Nostalgias are native species, in the sense that they belonged in us long before we realized. We don’t need to erase them, and we need to learn to let them be.
Tldr: the two are not that different, and im aware it inadvertently sounds like romanticizing trauma. It ain’t.
