Описание к видео EuroBloodNet European Reference Network - when will it be in place and why is collaboration crucial?

Pierre Fenaux, MD, PhD of Saint-Louis Hospital & Paris Diderot University, Paris, France and Joan Lluis Vives-Corrons, MD, PhD from the Hospital Clinic Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain discuss when the EuroBloodNet European Reference Network (ERN) on rare hematological diseases will be in place and the importance of collaboration for the network. According to Prof. Vives-Corrons, it is difficult to say at this moment in time when the network will be in place but the objective is to have it running as soon as possible. Once the network has been approved by the European Commission (EC), it will be important to see how the different working groups will work together. Prof. Vives-Corrons emphasizes that it is crucial for the different working groups to work together. He also discusses the difference between oncological and non-oncological groups and how non-oncological groups may have to be pushed more to work collaboratively.
Recorded at the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2016 Annual Congress in Copenhagen, Denmark.
