From the Field -- Scale Competition Thoughts & Practice with the JHH A-7 Corsair II (The RC Geek)

If you've been following along on my social pages (@thercgeek), you've been seeing the work I've been doing to get my Jet Hangar Hobbies A-7 Corsair II EDF ready for the upcoming 40th annual US Scale Masters Championships in a couple weeks (usscalemasters.org). While at the field getting in some flight practice, I thought I'd use it as an opportunity to talk about the airplane and scale competition in general as competition scale is one of my passions that I do enjoy quite a bit. Competition scale flying is a whole other challenge that requires precision and realism and it's a good way to really push your scale flying to another level. It's going to be tough, but I'm hoping to carry even just a little of some of the magic from the 2016 USSM Championships when I won with my Mirage IIIRS (   • The RC Geek's JHH Mirage IIIRS with J...  ). Big thanks to my friend Paul for helping capture video as my regular cameraman (Air-Jon) has been on vacation the last few weekends. :) He's not really done any RC air filming previously.
