This video documents the traffic lights at the border intersection of Inkster Road and Ann Arbor Trail, dividing Westland and Dearborn Heights. This footage captures a classic setup where older hardware is still actively controlling the daily commute. The active intersection currently features 2 12-inch Durasig 4-way incandescent clusters hanging on the span wire. The pedestrian crosswalks are equipped with a mix of generations, including 2 Durasig pedestrian lights, 4 LED pedestrian lights, and 2 countdown pedestrian lights. It is always a treat for me to document these older incandescent clusters still glowing in the wild before they get replaced by modern LED equivalents.
