Cartesian Diver Physics Experiment
In this video we show how to make an object to float or sink. This is a fun experiment to do at home. This experiment is also called Cartesian diver or diver in a soda bottle. The straw attached to the paper clip sinks when the soda bottle is squeezed and rises up when the soda bottle is released. Similar principle is used in submarine to sink and rise in the sea water.
You need:
- Plastic bottle (soda bottle)
- Paper clip
- Straw
