Ukulele Experiment: Baby Baritone Strings on a Tom Concert Ukulele

A few weeks ago, my friend Rich Davis (‪@richdavis4007‬) shared a video about Pepe Romero Baby Baritone Strings, so I ordered a set, and put them on my Tom TUC-B1 Concert Ukulele.

Summary Statement: They work well for this purpose, feel good, and sound good. I'd like to put them on a better ukulele, and perhaps will buy a Blackbird Clara for this purpose someday (used).

Rich's friend ‪@idoeverything‬ mentioned that one of the strings (4th?) did not fit into a particular tie bar bridge, and she had to install them on a different concert that would accept the width of all four strings.

I had to modify the nut on the TUC-B1 on strings 4 and 2 to accomidate their extra width.
