I started this 40-minute evening walk right at the Hilversum Town Hall, an iconic building designed by famous Dutch modernist architect Willem Marinus Dudok. Completed in 1931, the town hall is considered his masterpiece and one of the most admired examples of early 20th-century modern architecture in the Netherlands — known for its sculptural brick volumes and distinctive tower.
Along the way, we notice small details of everyday life… and even meet a few adorable cats 🐾🐱
