This video is a concept of Lighthearted AU, an alternate universe where SMG4 doesn't take itself too seriously.

What does that mean? A few things actually:

1. Desti and Axol, instead of dying, they have fake-out deaths instead. No one actually dies for real in this alternate universe, but nearly survived their deaths. It allows these characters to appear more in episodes and write bits of lore for people to finally know who they are besides a rival and a mangaka. Even an AU of Meggy's Destiny Movie and one about Axol continuing his life as a Mangaka with Melony.

2. SMG4 is still 'Supermarioglitchy4' in this AU, even if SMG1 and SMG2 said otherwise. In this AU, 1 & 2 are re-introduced as crazy hobos like before that would stalk 4. It becomes an episode where the gang tries to get rid of them via various means, finally successful by Mario pointing out SMG4 could simply sue 1 & 2, and acquiring a restraining order against them both. (Ending with a reveal of a terrible calamity, that being Zero.) This would build up episode per episode with more of their rampant appearance, usually as antagonist, side characters to even protagonist for one episode to fully flesh them out, their's and SMG4 past/lore, Zero's lore, etc. After this the events of Genesis Arc would relatively remain the same (At least for now, until some new ideas for better changes appear.)

3. 1 & 2 only knows them as Zero the Virus who (Apparently from 1 & 2s own account) destroyed countless worlds. In the Genesis Arc, He only ever target their world, which caused them brain damage that screws up their memory and mental state. This fact is revealed when Zero drops his spooky eldritch act and corrects them.

3.a. Melony would be with Axol when he gets taken away by Zero, on a centered episode for both of them before Zero targets Axol for his Inkweaver powers.

3.b. When Revelation happens, early on Niles gets revealed as Zero, cackling madly after his introductions and plotting along with the Box Cult to use Melony's Deity powers to summon the God Box. Usually he'd manifest himself as a one eyed monster in the shadows, having this Dr. Frankenstein and Igor relationship with the Box Cult Leader (Who for the remainder of this AU I'll name him Smith, from No Null's own Series.). An episode centered around Niles and Melony there would be Plot A & B.

A (Episode Plot) would be the Omnia Academy activities, essentially what the original SMG4 episodes are while B (Over-arch plot), usually a training scene between the two, Melony mastering her Deity powers while Niles helps him. Making Axol jealous and being suspicious of Niles. The B plot would focus on Melony becoming more and more powerful, Niles actually liking both Melony and Axol as genuine friends (+Backstory and Guilt) and Axol becoming more mature, putting down his suspicion and jealousy.

4. Obviously him being Zero, and God Box's overall influence on him have him follow through with the plan, even with large amounts of guilt showing. His Backstory, along with SMG0 would change from Niles wanting to be perfect to trying to save a dying universe, It's where Fred was the Avatar, Zero being the Hero and Niles being the Villain. One day, the memes became corrupted, and Fred was a victim of their attack, causing their universe to slowly rot. So both of them made a deal with the God Box, a being summoned through both Niles and Zero's powers combine. Together they would merge and uncorrupted the universe and save Fred. They failed, because according to the God Box they lack power, in blind rage and frustration they try to rob said powers, that being 1 & 2.

There's probably a lot of details I miss, so feel free to comment them and on some ideas as well.
