Its been a dream of mine since long time to travel on this route and see the majestic Dudhsagar falls up close. We all know that a train journey could help in that, especially when accompanied by light rain during the journey. Train - Vasco-da-Gama - Velankanni Express (17315)

This train runs weekly (Mondays) between Vasco-da-Gama and Velankanni. The train covers a distance of 1264 Kms in 27 hours 25 minutes with 25 halts.

Timings : Departure: 9:00 AM, Arrival: 12:25 PM on the next day.

Main stoppages for the train includes Madgaon Jn., SSS Hubballi Jn., Arsikere Jn., Banaswadi, Salem Jn., Erode Jn., Karur Jn., Tiruchchirappalli Jn., Thanjavur Jn., Thiruvarur Jn. and Nagapattinam Jn.
