biolitec® has developed a revolutionary, versatile and minimally invasive treatment option with optimal preservation of the surrounding tissue in gynecology named HOLA (Hysteroscopic Outpatient Laser Applications). HOLA works minimally invasive, i.e. a very small surgical procedure causes only minimal injury to skin and tissue. Myomas are being vaporized with a specially designed laser fiber and thus removed in a gentle way. The endometrium (innermost glandular layer of the uterus) remains intact during this treatment and is not being harmed. Even larger myomas can be treated with this method.
