밴드 '커팅 크루'는 1985년 잉글랜드에서 결성된 록 밴드로, 미국에서 1위를 차지한 적이 있는 이곡 "(I Just) Died in Your Arms"로 가장 잘 알려져 있는 팝 그룹입니다.
이 노래는 1986년 7월 싱글 발매된 후, 미국 빌보드 핫 100을 포함한 여러 나라에서 1위를 차지했으나 본국인 영국에서는 4위에 오르며, 앨범 판매량에 이어서 타이틀곡도 미국을 포함한 해외에서 더 큰 사랑을 받았습니다.
당시 우리나라에서도 많은 사랑을 받았고, BGM으로도 많이 쓰이면서
최근까지도 방송에 가끔 나오고 있습니다^^
곡 내용은 사랑했던 여자 친구가 진심이 아닌 걸 알게 된 슬픈 남자의 마음을 표현하고 있습니다.ㅠㅠ
리드 보컬이자, 작곡가인 '닉 밴 이데'가 실제 여자 친구와의 관계에서 느꼈던 감정을 'I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight'이라고 표현했었는데, 이 부분을 그대로 제목과 가사에 사용했다고 합니다.

드럼은 8비트로 단조로운 것 같지만 싱코페이션, 더블킥등의 까다로운 테크닉이 중간중간마다 나오며, 특히 필인이 은근히 까다롭습니다.
평소 드러머들이 흔희 사용하는 손 패턴이 아니라 악보에 집중 안 하면 여지없이 틀리곤 합니다^^:
그래서 난이도 3개를 주었습니다~ㅎ

The band 'Cutting Crew' is a rock band formed in England in 1985, and is a pop group best known for the song "(I Just) Died in Your Arms," which reached number one in the United States.
After the song was released as a single in July 1986, it ranked first in several countries, including the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, but ranked fourth in its home country, England. Following album sales, the title song also received greater love overseas, including the U.S. .
At the time, it was loved a lot in Korea, and was often used as BGM.
Until recently, it has occasionally appeared on broadcasts^^
The content of the song expresses the heart of a sad man who finds out that the girlfriend he loved was not sincere.ㅠㅠ
Lead vocalist and composer Nick Van Ide expressed the feelings he felt in his relationship with his real-life girlfriend in 'I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight', and this part was used in the title and lyrics.

The drums seem to be monotonous with 8 beats, but difficult techniques such as syncopation and double kicks appear here and there, and the fill-in is especially tricky.
It's not a hand pattern that drummers commonly use, so if you don't focus on the score, you're bound to make a mistake^^:
