Update: Early Production Trijicon TA11SDO Restoration Continues

Описание к видео Update: Early Production Trijicon TA11SDO Restoration Continues

My journey to 'restore' this early production Trijicon TA11SDO continues.

I established contact with a guy named Dave in the Trijicon Technical Customer Service department. Dave provided first class customer service and went out of his way to help me. Although the TA11SDO has been out of production, he was able to provide me the objective housing adapter that I needed to install the SDO Anti-Reflective Device (ARD). In this photograph, you see the objective adapter, ARD and flip-cap installed.

Dave additionally told me "after doing some digging, it turns out that this TA11SDO is an original sample and was used for bidding". I'm unsure what "was used for bidding" translates to, but perhaps it was a sales sample used to show prospective customers.

The next step in this journey is to acquire an ocular lense cover/flip-cap assembly. Trijicon and Tenebraex both have them available for purchase I believe. I didn't want to make the investment yet if I wasn't able to get the objective lense end squared away.

This Trijicon TA11SDO is the perfect companion for my prototype Knights Armament/Colt IAR6940H upper receiver.

More to come.
