Hezbollah Shot Down 2nd Israeli Hermes 450 UAV (Nov. 2023)

On November 18th, 2023 Hezbollah (officially known as the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon) published a propaganda video showing the successful shooting down of an Elbit Hermes 450 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) of the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) inside Lebanon.

This is the second Hermes 450 shot down by Hezbollah since 2023.

According to Hezbollah, it was shot down at 01:45 a.m. (local time) after violating the Lebanese air space. Al Mayadeen reported that military media stated that “the wreckage of the UAV was seen falling over al-Jalil.”
