I retried prepping my locs for a wig 2 years later using a different method and it worked this time! Check it out if you want to try on your hair :)





Hey Goodies! I did this tutorial for those who are still deciding whether or not to make the commitment to get sisterlocks. It is FAR from perfect (not fully flat as to the length and density of my hair) but I tried. I chose to do a method that does not use braids and sewing because 1.) It's a faster alternative, 2.) Not everyone knows how to braid, 3.) Causes less tension at the roots/great option for tender-headed people, and 4.) Could be a more effective method and be more flat if your locs are not as long as mine. I AM JUST AN EXTREME EXAMPLE. I know plenty of people interested but are afraid getting locs will limit their options on what hairstyles they can do once loced. This is just meant to be educational and reassuring to showcase the versatility of sisterlocks! 😊 I hope you all enjoy! ♥️
