Home made sailing boats, Goat Island Skiff and Hitia 14

Met my friend Edgar on the river and we went to rat island on our home made sailing boats, a Goat Island Skiff and a Hitia 14.
Edgar built his Hitia 14 multihull over 18 months and I built my Goat Island Skiff in 6. Both are made of plywood and glued with epoxy.
The day started with no wind, actually had to paddle a few minutes, but the wind came, inicialy around 4-5kts, which made for some easy and relaxed sailing to the island.
When we left the Island the wind had picked up to a nice 9-10kts which allowed for great fun on long beam and broad reaches on the way home.
