Chapter 1: The Black Serpent

From the scorching deserts to the steamy jungles, Harad's vast and diverse lands are not for the faint-hearted. For here, amidst towering dunes and barren wastelands, the Haradrim, an ancient and war-like people, make their homes.

We are a people of great strength and will, honed by the unforgiving conditions of our homeland. Though our customs and methods of war differ, we all share a fierce hatred for Gondor, and an unwavering determination to conquer any challenge that comes our way.
In this land of adversity, only the strongest survive, and only those who prove themselves worthy can lead the Haradrim. To claim dominion over all the tribes of Harad, one must first conquer the lesser tribes and regions, for only the most powerful and cunning can rise to the top.
Besides the followers of the Black Serpent, there are three main factions: The Muhad, the Hasharii and the Troll Men.

Behold, the Tribe of the Black Serpent, my own tribe and the mightiest of all Harad, ruled by the powerful Serpent-Lord Khûzaymáh! Whispers among our enemies speak of his ability to communicate with snakes, a gift granted by the Dark Lord of Mordor himself in exchange for loyalty and a pledge to unite Harad under his name. Khûzaymáh has allies aplenty, including the Haven Master of Umbar and the variag Khan Arkísh, but it is his cunning and his strength that make him the true master of these lands!
These four tribes, and many others besides, are the backbone of Harad's power, each with its own strengths and weaknesses, and each willing to fight to the death to defend its territory and way of life. If you wish to claim dominion over all the tribes of Harad, you will need to prove yourself against the best of the best, to face their fiercest warriors and emerge victorious. For only the strongest, the bravest, and the most cunning can hope to rule these lands of fire and blood.

From his palace in the Glittering City of Faen'obel, lord Khûzaymáh surveys the surrounding territories with this keen eye. To the South, the Haradwaith is controlled by the fearsome Troll-Men. Though a challenging prize, the vast and wild lands are rich in resources, and would be a worthy addition to our growing domain. To the East lie the Avallô jungle and flood plains, where the Harnen and its many tributaries flow freely, providing bountiful wealth and prosperity. To the West, the coastal cities of Gobel Mírlond and Ramlond await our conquest, offering ample opportunities for trade and commerce, if we wish to take that route. And to the North, the lands of Harondor, infested with our most hated foes - the accursed Gondorians, whose wicked blades have spilled the blood of countless Haradrim ancestors!

But we will not be deterred by their treachery! Our first step must be to conquer the lesser tribes and unite them under the banner of the Black Serpent. Only then can we bring the full might of Harad to bear upon Gondor and avenge our fallen kin! The Great Eye will guide us, and his glorious gaze will bathe us in its light as we march forth to conquer all who would dare to stand in our way! All hail lord Khûzaymáh, all hail lord Sauron!
