In this video I talk about a decent offering from Gerber Legendary Blades. Gerber was one of the first knife manufactures that I became familiar with when I began collecting knives. They were always inexpensive and easy to obtain so they found their way into my collection and pocket for EDC. Over time I realized the short comings of cheap steel and quality control and have since moved on to better companies like Kershaw, Benchmade, and Spyderco. I do not mean to say Gerber knives do not have their place but they cant really compete in the quality arena that many other production knife companies do. With that said I was happily surprised with the Gerber Covert Folder. I do not own one but the time that I spent with it and what I heard about it from my friend who owns it, I think Gerber did a nice job on it. I own the Mini Covert and it has been a great beater knife. With the upgraded steel and materials on the Covert folder it makes for a good edition to an EDC line up. Enjoy.
