In this chapter, Kian finally uncovers the true, and quite horrendous, purpose behind the Ge'en concentration camp, and finds himself an unexpected ally who could help bring it to light. Meanwhile, Zoë finally reaches the Purple Mountains, makes contact with the mysterious Oular, finds Abnaxus and returns the soul-stone to Lux the Dreamer - leading to yet another astonishing revelation about her true nature and grandiose destiny in the upcoming events.
