As per the current political numbers, BJP is expected to secure two seats and BJD one seat. However, no single party has a clear majority for the fourth seat, sparking intense political discussions over who will be elected to the Rajya Sabha from Odisha.


BJD has taken forms for the Rajya Sabha elections. Rajya Sabha MP Sasmita Patra has taken forms for 6 seats. Today, the Rajya Sabha has issued a notification, and BJD has taken the forms. This evening, BJD's PAC meeting will be held. A meeting of the Political Affairs Committee will be held at Naveen Niwas. Discussions may take place regarding the Rajya Sabha elections. Along with this, the upcoming political scenario will also be discussed in the meeting. BJD is certain to win one seat in the Rajya Sabha elections. And BJP will win two seats. However, no one has a number yet for the fourth seat. Therefore, there is speculation about what BJD will do.
