Can we treat schizophrenia without directly blocking dopamine?

Until this point the primary hypothesis has been the dopamine hypothesis, stating that excessive levels of dopamine are responsible for the symptoms of psychosis. Psychosis may be the result of hyper-activation of 5HT2A receptors on glutamate neurons, in this video I will introduce the serotonin hypothesis for schizophrenia.
