Trump Leaves Malaysia for Japan on Second Leg of Asia Tour

United States President Donald Trump is preparing to depart Malaysia on Monday morning, continuing to Japan for the second leg of his six-day, three-nation Asia tour aimed at strengthening economic partnerships and addressing regional tensions.
According to CNN, Trump is scheduled to leave Kuala Lumpur around 10 a.m. local time and arrive in Tokyo by 5 p.m., where he will be welcomed with traditional ceremonial honours. His first public engagement in Japan will be a courtesy call on Emperor Naruhito at the Imperial Palace, followed by bilateral talks with the country’s newly elected Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, Japan’s first female leader.
