In this two hundred thirty-seventh episode of contemporary & ballet male dancers we pay tribute to Canadian dancer Shale Wagman and his trajectory since a young child. We begin with his peformance at the age of 10 of "The Rubik's Cube" based on a famous 3D puzzle invented by Ernő Rubik in 1974, challenging players to twist and turn its faces to get each side to be a single, solid color, featuring 43 quintillion possible arrangements but only one solution, and it's a beloved brain teaser that builds problem-solving, memory, and focus. Next we present Shale Wagman at the age of 12 in "The Raven" and we conclude with "The Dying Swan" male duet version, performed at “LES HIVERNALES DE LA DANSE" in Belgium at the age of 23. The duet includes Shale Wagman, Premier Soloist at the “Ballet de Munich” and Toon Lobach, freelance dancer from the Netherlands. Originally titled “The Swan”, a famous ballet solo choreographed by Mikhail Fokine in 1905. It was created specifically for the legendary ballerina Anna Pavlova, Set to Camille Saint-Saëns’ music, depicting the final, poetic moments of a swan's life.  It is often misunderstood as a form of dance meant for girls and women only, but nothing could be further from the truth!
