MCU-2 A/P GaS Mask

Checking out my Military Surplus Gas Mask MCU-2 A/P. I picked this one up Used on eBay for $75 and Free shipping. It was made in 2003 and inspected in 2011. Be sure to check the size stamped on the front of the mask. A lot of the great deals are size SMALL. I got the Medium and it just fits my face. These masks have a very mixed reputation. Do your research. Mine has performed perfectly. Add an NBC adapter cap to your Military canteen so you can hydrate while being nuked. Will accept any 40mm NATO threaded filter. The MCU-2 A/P has a communications adapter i'm currently searching for so i can pipe it into my Baofeng UV 5R. The mask, with standard NATO filter attached, weighs in at 1lb 9oz. No protective hood was included with mine. It came with a registration card showing date of manufacture and inspection and a carrying bag/satchel that i can't figure out. i carry it in a dry bag. I'd love to get a new, modern gas mask but $300 dollars and up is way out of my budget. For $75 it's definitely worth it to me. No way am i missing the apocalypse.
