Xing 2207 1800kv 6S Maiden

These are the first impressions of my new XING 2207 1800kv 6S Motors. I now run these Motors with throttle_limit at 80% to protect my batteries and to improve the throttle control down low. After flying them for over a month now, I still like them a lot.

A lot of people switch to 6S nowdays and I think there are some small advantages to it but if you already have a bunch of 4S batteries I wouldn't recommend switching, better buy some new ones. The mix of 4S and 6S batteries makes flying less consist and can be nerve wracking when having to tune and adjust two battery setups. On the otherhand you can switch to 4S for tight spots or cinematic and relaxed flying.

Please don't make the mistake and think that new gear instantly makes you a better pilot. To my suprise I didn't feel a whole lot of difference in flight feel, compared to my very old DYS MR2205 2300kv. On 4S the XING are a bit slower than the DYS, but I think my old LiPos will thank me for that.
Don't take the voltage and amperage to serious, because the OSD always falls a bit behind the actual readings and doesn't update as often. If you're willing to find some relatively reliable data you should look at the blackbox logs.

Consistency and practice are the key!
