No. 3 from Horetzky's Op. 23, "Twelve Divertimentos for the Guitar" — "Siciliana". Should I record the entire opus? Also, new arrangement coming soon! I'm having trouble making some final decisions on it, but it will be out soon. Sorry for the wait!

Felix Horetzky (originally Feliks Horecki) (1 January 1796 – 6 October 1870) was a Polish guitarist. He was born in the eastern Polish village of Horyszów Ruski. In 1815, he arrived in Warsaw to become a civil servant in the Treasury Commission but quickly left to pursue a career in music. He moved to Vienna for one year, where he studied under Mauro Giuliani. To finance his tuition, he taught lessons of his own, even teaching members of the imperial court. Following his year in Vienna, Horetzky successfully toured Germany, Belgium and France.

Horetzky's first documented residence in the British Isles dates to 1827. Here he toured England and Ireland for several years before finally settling in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1838, where he spent most of his life. He continued to concertize in other British cities and was friends with Leonard Schulz, with whom he played in a duo. Horetzky was also a co-editor of 'The Giulianiad', the first magazine for guitarists.
