Vrbjanska Chuka is an archeological site located in the Republic of North Macedonia in the region Pelagonia near the city of Prilep, vicinity of the villages Slavej and Vrbjani in the municipality of Krivogashtani.
The concert events at this site started happening in 2019 organized by the archeologist Goce Naumov and his team also supported by the festival Prilep Jazz Weekend. These annual concert events mark the end of the summer archaeological dig of Vrbjanska Chuka.

This was a very special event that happened last year in August 2020 at this beautiful archeological site. I was invited by my friend Goce Naumov who is the principal archeologist at this site, to play solo vibraphone and percussion with mainly improvised themes of my songs that are going to be on my first official studio album AVP Project - Volume 1.
I was challenged to bring my musical vision and express the energy of the site, visualizing the spirits of our pri historic ancestors.

Vrbjanska Chuka has been researched since 2016 within the international project of the Centre for Prehistoric Research, the Museum and the Institute for cultural heritage protection from Prilep, the University of Southern Bohemia and the Institute for ancient Slavic culture. The goal of the research is to determine the character of this settlement through various archaeological and multidisciplinary methods, which, so far, has yielded many new results and insights.
