KTVB First Alert Weather Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, with meteorologist Jim Duthie in Boise, Idaho:
WINTER STORM WARNINGS and WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES are posted for higher elevations mainly above 4500 feet through Saturday, where 2-6" of snow is expected in mountain communities, becoming a rain/snow mix later Friday. Snow levels will rise Friday night and Saturday above 5000 feet, but one to two feet of snow or more is expected at ski resorts and high mountain ranges into Sunday. Valley precipitation amounts will range from 1/4-1/2" of water through Saturday night.

Temperatures in Boise starting out in the low 30's with wet snow Friday morning, then gradually rising to the low 40's by afternoon as snow changes to rain, then reaching today's high of 45° by evening. Temperatures will hold fairly steady through the night, only varying by a couple of degrees, rising to the low 50's Saturday and Sunday. Rain will continue overnight and into Saturday in the valleys, tapering off to scattered showers late tomorrow. Sunday will be drier with isolated showers.
