now this is doncaster minster st george yes they were ringing this morning from 10am till 12 noon some one said the tower was safe and it was ok to go bellringing here i didnt go up to ring it was still the doncaster minster bellringers who rang here sounded nice i was just outside ither in the town centre or by the busy mainroads ok i just kept myself to my self no bother no one even saw me outside the minster yes there was a visiting band coming this afternoon at 2 o clock i had have already gone on my way to visit another church Eastretford st swithurns stage coach buss 99 i left doncaster town around 12 o clock the visiting band who was ringing here came around 2 o clock no i wasnt there at that time no a church is a gothic building i saw nobody at all i was just walking around the church and town centre to video the minster i was just minding my own biusniss yes my train got into doncaster around 10 30 am it left halifax at 9 am on platform 1 at halifax train station weather was a bit brezzy blustery at times not to bad some sunshine as well i could hear the minster bells from the train station so i came to hear them ring for about 20 mins then moved on into town near french gate centre i only walked around from outside i saw nobody i had long long gone before they had finished with the learners practice it was nice to hear the minsters 8 bells where ever you are or which eria of doncaster town you are in the minster is so so big enomous massive tall central bell tower it remindes me of a french cathedral like reims cathedral and notre dame as well so much about the minster i even went to Bms car park to video the bells ringing yes i could still hear it it looks so close its because its so big massive by stuart mills stuarts south yorkshire churches tours no i didnt go up ring i saw nobody just the church from outside its been mended now hope you like my tour around doncaster town and minster church corner clock towers was at the wrong time it chimed at five to the hours and 10 past the hour 25 past the hour so when i came back to doncaster at tea time the clock said 5to the hours when the other town clocks were right so when it was 6 o clock by the other clocks the corner clock tower said 10 past 10 but still chimed the right hours and the striking as well it was just the time on all four sides which was the wrong time these are not proper bells they are like speakers from inside the corner clock tower in doncaster town near french gate shopping centre yes it does also play tunes as well cant say when it happens its got 4 white clock faces has the corner tower yes
