But...before you have the courage to do what is impossible, someone must first show you what is possible.

“We know that up until the ages of 10 young girls are just as interested in careers in engineering, mathematics, science and technology” says Boys & Girls Clubs STEM Director Angela O’Neil “Unfortunately, after the age of 13 that changes, and research is now showing why that happens”.

The GIRLTECH Engineering Conference is designed to expose young girls to careers in science and engineering and connect them with female role models who could inspire them to pursue careers in STEM regardless of their gender.

Today, 60+ young girls (ages 10-13) experienced discussion panels, prototype workshops, and a hands robotics demonstrations and simulators.

What they really experienced was an idea that they could pursue now what they thought was impossible before.

We would like to thank all of the individuals and organizations that made this happen for our girls!
