CNSwipower Xijia 48V Inverter Repair - Replacing a tiny SMD Potentiometer with... something bigger 🔨

The output voltage in the Xijia inverter kept creeping up for the last few weeks. When I tried to adjust the voltage as per the manufacturers advice, the potentiometer broke off! Someone in China found it a great idea to cover the trimmer with glue.
I had to replace the potentiometer but only had a conventional one, so I thought... well let's give this a try and see if we can fix it.

The Xijia inverter is great and has worked flawlessly for the last two years. Even under permanent full load of 3kW, it never had any problems. If you're looking for a reliable powerful inverter from 12V-48V, you can find more info and product links here on my website:
