This super cool fan was purchased at a local auction outside of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. It was non operational but the style and identification tags made it very interesting. Oak Ridge was built in 1942 to enrich the Uranium for the first atomic bomb. The items used to furnish Oak Ridge both military and civilian are marked with inventory tags. Though I can’t prove the provenance the clues are strong to this 1940’s fan being from Oak Ridge. Some tender love and care and the fan is almost as good as new. Let me know what you think!
