Porsche Macan’s twin-under-the-skin arrives (Audi SQ6 E-Tron 2025 Review)

The SQ6 E-Tron sits as the flagship of the all-new midsize electric Q6 E-Tron, Audi’s first truly ‘bespoke’ electric model that has finally landed in Australia ahead of its showroom debut in early 2025.

The Q6 E-Tron is a landmark as it’s the first Audi model to debut the EV-dedicated Volkswagen Group PPE platform, co-developed with Porsche, rather than the internal-combustion-derived ‘MQ’ architecture of Audi electrics thus far. PPE is shared with the upcoming Macan electric.

Priced from $151,400 before on-roads, the sporty ‘S’ variant offers dual motors with 380kW combined, an 800-volt architecture, a 94.9kWh net battery, and a promise of 4.3sec 0-100km/h for the circa-2.4-tonne family hauler.
