Centaur Connect: 2004 Toyota Tacoma NEW WATER PUMP TIMING BELT THERMOSTAT RADIATOR Replacement

New Water Pump + Radiator + Thermostat + Timing belt being replaced on a 2004 Toyota Tacoma here in Stockton, CA📍

This job right here took us a few days to figure out as I first got contacted to replace the radiator ONLY

After the radiator was changed, we noticed a leak coming from where the water pump was located at🤮

We was thinking there were more problems with the car as our client bought the car while being told he might have a blown head gasket

This makes sense. Once we got the parts, we ended up removing the timing belt and water pump only to notice the Thermostat was COOKED😭

After successfully changing the timing belt and water pump we noticed a weird noise coming from the center of the pulleys

We came back as we were told it couldn’t be anything but the fact that we messed up the timing belt. The thing is, my master mechanic of an uncle DOES NOT mess up timing!!!

He might be crazy, arrogant & sometimes be yelling at people when he goes on his 10 mile runs everyday but he’s a LEGEND when it comes to Timing belts & Chains cuz that’s all the shops would have him do for 30+ years

We returned and took everything apart again ONLY to find out, it was his center pulley making the noise as it’s cracked & one of the studs on the pulley was threaded out

Once I got it all on video, I got all the details I needed to know our job was done and everything was done properly ✅✅

He left it as is and make a coo profit after selling the truck

Whenever someone comes to me for a complaint, ima come back. I’ll figure out what’s wrong and you’ll know if we made a mistake or not

Most mechanics you find online will either block or ghost you to not deal with the headache.
