Snowfall in

Snow falling in Kalam and my travel from Kalam to Bahrain during live snowfall was unique and one of the most beautiful part of my travels. #Bahrain_Kalam_road used to be much bad rather i would say there was no road actually but the stones. 38 km long this travel earlier took more than 4 hrs but now after re-construction of this road, travel time has been reduced to 1 hr and 10 minutes. I have shared the same in the form of vlog. We had a chance to visit Kalam in Jan 2020 on the very first day of #snowfall. During snowfall whole this travel from Kalam to Bahrain was memorable and an epic journey.
Don't forget to chain the tires of vehicles when driving on snowy roads. Do not take un-necessary stops and keep moving the car slowly because a stopped car is very difficult to accelerate on snow. Else you should have that power and ability to give a manual push to the car.
Kalam road damaged during 2010 floods. Its construction and rehabilitation delayed and condition worsened when Pak army was crushing TTP in Swat region.
Kalam and its vicinities are very peaceful and worth visiting and this development of road will give a boost to the numbers of tourists in Kalam in coming tourist season.
