Shrimp Po Boy, Chicken and Waffles, Teriyaki Rice Bowl at Black Seed Cafe (Point Breeze Philly)

Black Seed Cafe located at 2400 Federal street Philadelphia Point Breeze Section specialize in Rice bowls, Seafood sandwiches, salmon cheesesteak, shrimp po boy, chicken and waffles and much more. Owner Iyanna opened this establishment in Nov 2019. I ordered 3 things: The Teriyaki Rice bowl trio salmon, Shrimp and chicken, Shrimp Po Boy and the Chicken and waffles. Shrimp Po Boy was soo good. You'll notice the soft bread first when biting and then the flavor of the creole sauce, cheese with the freshly fried shrimp dances on your taste buds. Secondly, the chicken and waffles was done right! The chicken was fried hard with a touch of light seasoning into the batter. The waffles were made fresh and I can see why this dish is one of their best seller. Lastly is there teriyaki rice bowl. You have the option to add any proteins you like so I chose Shrimp, Salmon and chicken. This was a really fun dish to eat and the rice had a reminiscing flavor from the local chinese restaurant.
