I have had a lot of requests to test the 158 gr lead round nose .38 Special round in the ballistic box, so here we are. The classic 158 gr LRN (law enforcement load) would travel out of a 4" barrel at a muzzle velocity of 755 FPS. This load was used for at least 75 years as the go to caliber/cartridge/bullet combination for most police forces in the United States. Lets see what results I get with it! I am also running a BUNCH of hand loaded 158 gr LRN rounds through the chronograph to make sure we are using the correct 755 FPS Load. Always appreciative of any channel help :)
