Most golfers try to ‘hit down’… but this drill teaches you the real way to pure your irons.

Try this progressive divot drill.

How to do it:
👉 No ball. Take your first swing and brush the turf.

👉 Next swing - start your divot at the end of the previous one and extend it slightly.

👉Third swing - same again, shifting your divot forward and making it a little longer.

✅ This gives you the feel of constantly moving your low point forward.

Now add a ball and recreate the same sensation - striking it clean becomes much easier.

This is one of the simplest ways to train ball-first, ground-second contact.
