As an introduction, this workshop will provide several land use photo signatures to puzzle through. Discussing the challenges for making a determination will underscore the value of human insight in extracting meaningful, accurate information from aerial photos.

We’ll also take a quick look at the parameters that should be set for a photo interpretation project. A more in-depth workshop on setting up a mapping classification will be offered in the future.
