Risk of Rain 2 - False Son%

pretty decent day 0 speedrun of the boss from the new DLC, Seekers of the Storm.

in terms of actual gameplay there isn't much going on with this category: sit in some circles, 1shot boss, win. category's capped by how many focused convergence you get.

as far as the DLC goes... absolutely everything is messed up. haven't even played the new survivors yet at the time of writing this, but game feels pretty different in a bad way. notably (as seen in this run) loader grappling speed is tied to FPS, so i uncapped my fps to fly across the stage.

i won't go into too much detail about other issues in the DLC but merc's dash cooldown is broken, acrid's unplayable, momentum is "fixed" (no host skip) etc.

in terms of actual content, ignoring bugs, the new content seems pretty cool so far. i haven't fought the new boss properly (obviously 1shotting it with artifacts and easiest difficulty isn't "fighting" it). i'll try the new survivors too and see how they are gameplay-wise. but if the bugs are fixed, definitely seems like a cool DLC
