Welcome to the orientation for volunteers with the city of Independence, Emergency Preparedness Division, including members of the Medical Reserve Corps of Greater Kansas City.

This orientation is required for all volunteers. The purpose of this orientation is to help volunteers take full advantage of resources available, know what to do to meet requirements, learn how to respond when activated, understand insurance coverage, and ensure the most rewarding, enjoyable, and professionally-supported volunteer experience possible!
