Naration:

The Kuroya seemed unstoppable. With Kichigorou gone, the Beniya's numbers dwindle. But something must be done, or soon the Beniya would be no more. Calling for help injures pride, but there is more at stake. Rin is entrusted with a letter to be delivered to Zennosuke. With the help of Rin, the Beniya would survive. But now, the girl is plagued by doubt. In her present frame of mind, all that awaits is a useless death. All they need is time. Perhaps then, their luck would change, and the nightmare would end.

The Kuroya comprised a faction of skilled assassins under the leadership of Jyuzou.
Kuroya assassins:

1) Ranzou is a slender individual with an appreciation for witnessing the resilience of women.
2) Shinogi is driven by the objective to fulfill the demise of one thousand individuals before his own.
3) Shou holds the distinction of being a selected member of Kuroya under the discerning choice of Jyuzou.
4) Hitoha The older sibling of Futaba remains an enigmatic shinobi within the ranks of Kuroya, with the purpose of his existence shrouded in mystery.
5) Futaba, the younger sibling of Hitoha, formerly associated with the Hagakure Ninja.
6) Jyuzou, the leader of the Kuroya
